It boasts a wealth of experience in designing and implementing complex projects, such as development of Erfurt’s 22-hectare “Brühl” district. It has been successfully accepting and co-ordinating a wide variety of tasks since 1994 – from district planning, to restoration and development, to property marketing and management.
Conclusion of the urban development foundation agreement in March 2014 saw LEG Thüringen commissioned with the task of project development for the ICE-City Erfurt. And it is promoting this project in close consultation with the Thuringian Ministry for Construction, Rural Development and Transport, the Thuringian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Employment and Technology, and the state capital, Erfurt. It purchases, plans, develops and subdivides the areas located directly around Erfurt’s main train station, tailors these to specific needs, and takes charge of marketing.
